Mina Ličen

Learning and Development

Mina Ličen graduated in Financial Mathematics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Ljubljana in 2011. In 2013, she obtained a master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing, and in 2019, she completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. Since 2014, she has been employed at the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. In 2021, she was awarded the title of assistant professor, and in 2022, she became the head and co-head of six accounting subjects at the Faculty of Economics. In addition to lecturing, she is active in the field of research, focusing on managerial accounting, behavioral economics, and neuroeconomics. Her research interests include the study of decision-making, risk-taking, and the effects of monetary and non-monetary incentives on behavior, motivation, and effort. Her bibliography includes numerous original scientific articles and contributions to recognized international and domestic conferences. Since 2022, she has been collaborating with the Institute for Economic Democracy, where she is responsible for financial literacy and open book management (OBM).
